Greece, which normally bans flights from the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) from landing in the country, has decided to make an exception to the rule so that a delegation from Skopje can take part in a meeting of Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) foreign ministers due to take place on Corfu June 27-28. The decision was criticized by PASOK, which said that it “undermined” Greece’s position in the ongoing name talks with FYROM. Government sources said that if the FYROM diplomats had been banned, Skopje could have claimed it was being barred from the meeting by Greece. Source: Kathimerini
